We were instructed in 2019 to advise Allen & Overy, the major international law firm, on their occupational requirements. This involved undertaking a detailed review of the ‘stay’ and ‘go’ options in relation to their existing premises at Bishops Square, including identifying suitable relocation options and providing financial cashflow modelling. This resulted in a decision to relocate to a new and more sustainable office development at 2 Broadgate, EC2. We negotiated terms for the pre-letting at 2 Broadgate, and worked with Allen & Overy, and their professional team, to document the transaction. Allen & Overy are due to move in by 2027, to occupy at least 254,000 sq ft as their new UK headquarters, and we continue to advise as the development progresses.
