On behalf of Land Securities, the UK’s largest REIT, Capital Real Estate Partners:
- Advised on the commercial terms of the headlease and development agreement from the freeholder, Transport for London (TFL).
- Negotiated the option for TFL to co-invest in the proposal and the development overage arrangements required by TFL.
- Advised on the commercial elements of the conditions in the proposed planning permission from the City of London.
- Advised on the commercial elements of the transaction to pre-let the scheme to Deutsche Bank for their new European headquarters.
- Advised on aspects of the eventual sale to an overseas investor.
